This is a great pad to match your black period undies. Also suitable for women who don't like to see the blood. This Mega pad is made from a top layer of black 100% organic cotton velour, with four inner layers of thick 100% organic cotton fleece (two of which are removable - just the same as the Mega pad extra inserts). The whole pad is lined throughout with fully waterproof PUL and is backed with 100% organic cotton jersey. This pad is suitable for the heaviest flow possible. If you cannot leave the house, or if you have to sit on the toilet all night, or if you need blood transfusions after your period, then do not despair; this is the pad for you. It is very big - 17" x 3.5"- and flared both front and back to cover all eventualities. Machine wash up to 60'. The removable insert will come out during the wash. This makes drying a lot quicker (so you don't need to buy so many pads). Simply pop the insert back in when dry, and your pad is ready again. Extra inserts are available.

The Mega pad is ideal for extremely heavy flow - post partum bleeding, menopausal flooding, very very heavy periods, etc. It also makes a good incontinence pad for full gushes.
